hey hey! we just recorded the "january 10th" this past weekend and i guess it turned out okay. today i sat around all day trying to make up a cool slap bass thingy so i finally got a little bit and recorded it. it's not that great but i'm pleased with it.
we had a practice on monday afternoon and it went really well. except there were no chords to set up the sound system in our youth room so we just ran out of amps...jamey had to use a speaker, which kind of stunk because it didn't have the same effect as his amp would've, oh well. worked on a new song, which might have the bassline from that slap bass thingy...
we're also hoping to record on march break a few songs, with the help of nick ross, the amazing guitarist whom everyone knows and thinks is amazing, so yeah, we'll keep you posted!
